The Alexander Technique has been enriching my life for over 20 years.  I discovered the writings of F.M. Alexander whilst pursuing a career as a dancer and later began private lessons in the technique as a Bachelor of Arts student in theatre studies. I was surprised and delighted that not only did the Alexander Technique (AT) enhance performance, it was constructively influencing all aspects of my life.  These changes prompted me to begin training as a teacher of the technique in 2005.  A system of self styled, self motivated learning would lead me to study with one of the world’s most revered and innovative teachers, Cathy Madden.  As a mover and performer, Cathy’s integrative approach to AT profoundly resonated as I began to directly apply the technique to my love of dance, singing, drama and yoga. Integrative AT also supported my exploration and expansion of my ‘ways of being and acting’ in the world.  I discovered Integrative AT as a means of exploring and updating who I am; a means by which to flourish.

As a teacher I aim to create a supportive and playful environment in which students can explore this process utilizing the technique in any activity or aspect of their life they choose.

Since becoming a teacher of Integrative AT in 2011 I have also expanded my skills with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment and a Cert IV in Life Coaching with a certificate in Wellbeing.     Integrative Alexander Technique continues to support and compliment my yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices of which I have been engaged for over 20 years.
